Sanders Graf, DMD, MS
Dr. J. Sanders Graf was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, the second of four boys. He attended Louisiana State University, where he met Eloise Kayser Graf, a Shreveport native, who would eventually become his wife. He received his dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, in Birmingham. After dental school, he attended orthodontic school, also at Alabama, where he received his master’s degree in orthodontics. This program is considered one of the best in the nation, providing exposure to the most advanced technology in the orthodontic field today.
Dr. Graf is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest level an orthodontist can attain. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Northwest Louisiana Dental Association. Since graduation, he has returned to Alabama to lecture to the orthodontic residents there. He also regularly attends meetings of the LSU Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, helping educate their residents about the orthodontics involved with orthognathic surgery. He attends numerous orthodontic continuing education courses and stays on the cutting edge of orthodontics.
Away from the office, Dr. Graf enjoys golf, reading and spending time with his family.
